Summer Camp Phone Policy

To help everyone fully unplug, connect, and be present at camp, students will not have continuous access to their phones during the day. Instead, there will be a few designated times during the day when students will be allowed to use their phones to text or call parents. The leaders will send plenty of updates via the GroupMe app as well throughout the day. Thank you for helping us create a distraction-free, meaningful camp experience for everyone!

The Tribe Commitment

Because of the potential dangers (physically and spiritually) regarding a trip such as this, I understand the need to be responsible on this trip and follow these specific guidelines. I realize my actions may affect the safety and The Tribe on this trip.

Guidelines:

1. I understand that I need to abstain from public (or private) displays of affection if I am not married.

2. I understand that I will respect leaders of Milestones Church with my words and actions.

3. I understand that I cannot be in any area without adult supervision.

4. I understand the need for separated sleeping arrangements and will honor this. I will not enter the dorm of the opposite sex for any reason.

5. I understand that I am not allowed to POSSESS or USE any tobacco/nicotine products (Including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping products, cigars, pipes, smokeless tobacco, snuff, or Zyn) alcohol, or any other types of drugs.

6. I understand that I am not allowed outside of the dorm room after “lights out.”

7. I understand that I am not allowed to POSSESS or USE any weapon or fireworks.

8. I understand that I am not allowed to haze, harass, threaten, or intimidate other Tribe members or others at camp.

Consequences for breaking guidelines:

If you break #’s 1-2, we will give one warning, and you will be sent home at your family’s expense after the second time.

If you break #’s 3-8 it will result in being sent home at your family’s expense.
